Where curiosity meets impact—this is science in action!
Get ready for a science adventure like no other! On this special student-only day, school groups will take over the Citizen Science Fair for a hands-on dive into real-world research, environmental action, and the power of everyday observation.
From coral analysis and frog listening stations to plant tracking, biodiversity counting, and more. Meet working scientists, test cutting-edge apps, and engage with real-world research in the heart of World Science Festival Brisbane 2026!
With pop-up talks, digital tools, and interactive experiences, students will walk away inspired to keep asking questions and start their own citizen science journey—at school, at home, and in their communities.
Presented in association with Queensland Performing Arts Centre
