Associate Professor David Flannery is an astrobiologist with QUT’s School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences in the Faculty of Science focused on the evolution of life and habitable environments on rocky planets. He is a member of NASA’s Perseverance Rover science team and a co-investigator of a rock chemistry instrument aboard the rover which touched down on Mars in February 2021.
