Donna Stewart

Inspector Donna Stewart is the Quality Manager of the Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Services Group, with more than 25 years’ experience across frontline policing, forensic services, policy & legislation development, and various senior leadership roles. More than half her career has been spent within forensics, including over 12 years as a Scientific Officer examining major crime scenes and providing expert evidence. She has specialised in areas including the detection, enhancement and collection of physical evidence, bloodstain pattern analysis, shoe and tyre impression comparison, fire and explosive scene examination, and crime scene management. Donna leads the quality management system for QPS forensic services, overseeing standards, accreditation, research, and training to ensure alignment with ISO/IEC 17025 and world best practice. She holds postgraduate qualifications in forensic science and a Master of Leadership and Management.
